GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Toepasselijkheid
1.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all agreements between Salsa by Charissa, established in Vlaardingen, hereinafter referred to as “the Dance School”, and participants in dance lessons, workshops, events and other activities, hereinafter referred to as “Participant”.
1.2 By registering, the Participant agrees to these terms and conditions.
2. Registration and Payment
2.1 Registration for lessons and/or workshops is done via the designated online form or by e-mail.
2.2 The full course fee must be paid before the start of the first lesson, unless otherwise agreed.
2.3 In the event of late payment, the Dance School reserves the right to refuse access to the lessons.
2.4 There will be no refund of the course fee in the event of early termination by the Participant.
3. Cancellation and Catch-up lessons
3.1 Cancellation of a lesson must be made by email or WhatsApp before 3:00 PM on the day of the lesson.
3.2 A maximum of three missed lessons per course can be made up – if available – within the current course period, provided they are at the same or a lower level.
3.3 Lessons that are not cancelled on time will be forfeited and cannot be made up or settled.
4. Changes and Cancellations by the Dance School
4.1 De Dansschool behoudt zich het recht voor om bij overmacht (zoals ziekte van de docent of te weinig inschrijvingen) wijzigingen aan te brengen in locatie, tijd, docent of het programma.
4.2 Indien een cursus door de Dansschool geannuleerd wordt, vindt restitutie plaats naar rato van de gemiste lessen.
5. Liability
5.1 Deelname aan lessen en activiteiten geschiedt op eigen risico.
5.2 De Dansschool is niet aansprakelijk voor lichamelijk letsel, schade of verlies van persoonlijke eigendommen.
5.3 Deelnemers dienen zorgvuldig om te gaan met de faciliteiten en eigendommen van de Dansschool of de leslocatie. Schade veroorzaakt door nalatigheid of opzet wordt verhaald op de veroorzaker.
6. Behavior and House Rules
6.1 Deelnemers worden geacht respectvol om te gaan met docenten, medecursisten en locatie.
6.2 Ongepast gedrag, intimidatie of discriminatie wordt niet getolereerd.
6.3 Hygiëne, gepaste kleding en dansschoenen zijn verplicht.
7. Intellectual Property and Media
7.1 Choreografieën en lesmateriaal blijven eigendom van de Dansschool en mogen niet worden verveelvoudigd of verspreid zonder toestemming.
7.2 Tijdens lessen of evenementen kunnen foto- en video-opnames gemaakt worden. Deze kunnen worden gebruikt voor promotionele doeleinden van de Dansschool.
7.3 Deelnemers die hier bezwaar tegen hebben, dienen dit vooraf kenbaar te maken.
8. Privacy
8.1 Personal data will be treated confidentially and will only be used for communication and administration within the Dance School.
8.2 Data will never be provided to third parties without permission.
9. Complaints
9.1 Klachten kunnen schriftelijk ingediend worden via info@salsabycharissa.com.
9.2 Binnen 14 dagen wordt een inhoudelijke reactie gegeven.
10. Final provisions
10.1 These terms and conditions may be amended by the Dance School at any time. The current version is available on the website.
10.2 These terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
10.3 Disputes will be submitted to the competent court.
